Lentigo and freckle elimination with INTERmedic diode lasers
A high percentage of the population suffers from different kinds of
pigmentation problems, caused for example by sun exposure, aging, or
congenital conditions.
Using INTERmedic's laser systems, freckles or brown sun and age spots
(lentigo) are reduced by about 80% in the treated area in a single session.
The former is possible since the diode laser energy is most effectively
absorbed by the high concentration of melanin in freckles or brown spots.
The patient should, of course, take care not to expose unprotected skin
to the sun prior to and for some time after treatment.
