For endonasal procedures the highly flexible 400 to 600 µm optical fibers are introduced into the working channel
of a rigid endoscope.
The transilluminative property of the laser fiber used permits perfect visual control of the treatment process, allowing rapid and precise operation with the highest degree of patient safety. This minimally invasive method prevents any damage to the natural anatomy of the endonasal cavity and permits safe and effective restoration of the proper lacrimal ducts' functions. |
